This place is amazing. Her prices are crazy cheap for cute stuff. I just bought a beautiful lace sheer dress for a night out for 15 bucks. She buys clothes too. You have to ask if she's buying that day, but she usually is. With Halloween on its way it's the perfect stop for your costume. She pulls out her collections for rental and her costumes are stunning. This is North County history. Wilma's mother passed the shop onto her years ago. She grew up here and has kept this business going for years. What an honor to hear her story. She showed me some pictures of her as a child at the Encinitas Flower Festival back in 1981. We reminisced about the hippie vibe here years ago and both expressed how happy we are that Encinitas really has kept that unique vibe going after all of this time. Her shop is a must see if you're thrifting in the area. This is why it's so important to support the local lifestyle. Gems like this need our support and we are truly the ones that benefit. I'm so grateful to have learned more about her today.

Owner, Lead BloggerHello, my name is Karen Vazquez. I have lived in Southern California for over thirty years. I realized about four years ago that it was time for me to give back to this wonderful community by supporting local SoCal businesses, performers, restaurants, spas, boutiques, fitness studios, farmers markets and more. My support shines through here by highlighting these fabulous local SoCal spots. You can also follow me on Instagram, Twitter, PInterest and LinkedIn. I will be featuring many local destinations in the area that have been my personal favorites for years and am currently recruiting guest bloggers to expand the voice of LoSoCal. I have had guest bloggers in the past, but aim to incorporate local SoCal bloggers on a regular basis as a fun, creative and collaborative way to connect with the community here.
