motherearthbrewco.com This is a fabulous brewery in North County. They are most popular for their craft beer, Cali Creamin', which is on draft locally at quite a few spots in the area. I go there and I usually get that beer, but I have tried it all there. If you do the Vista bar scene you'll usually start at Mother Earth and get food from a pizza spot across the street, Urbn, who partners with them for food so beer lovers that go there can also eat while they hang out. Urbn has amazing food and I recommend their salads too. They really know how to make pizza and they are a destination spot themselves in the Vista community. I love this beer. They have a ton of merchandise with prints for all of their brews and it sells out regularly. This one goes fast because it is their most popular beer. I have one myself lol. I like Mother Earth because it's an open concept floor plan. It has a cool warehouse vibe common in Vista right now. There is a special alcohol license exclusive to Vista right now that supports and allows many breweries to have their venues in industrial areas that are in the surrounding neighborhoods. This brewery is in the downtown Vista area, but its presence actually played a huge part in the launch of a lot of other local breweries opening that do the same thing. Vista is a go to spot these days for craft beer and it's just going to keep expanding as far as many brewery owners are concerned. They have shared with me that they believe in the craft beer industry in Vista, Ca. Mother Earth has more of a following because it has been around longer than some breweries in the area and the partnership with Urbn pizza makes it a unique spot. If you visit North County you have to do a craft beer crawl in Vista and see for yourself the breweries that are emerging in the community.
